It's Friday, so it's time for Sara's cooking class! Today she is going to teach us how to cook a delicious flan! It is the season of fruits, so for this recipe we will use fresh cherries and strawberries to decorate our flan. Before starting the lesson, Sara insisted to let you that you have to be extremely cautious when you melt the sugar, because it becomes very very hot and it can be dangerous. So, let's walk through the recipe: you have to make caramelized sugar. After that, you have to prepare the cream. You have to use milk, eggs and vanilla essence. When the cream is ready, you pour it over the caramelized sugar, and put every thing in the oven for 45 minutes. When the mixture is ready, you take it out of the oven and let it cool for some time in the refrigerator. Finally, you decorate it with cherries and strawberries, and your flan is ready.
